Some of our Redemptorist confreres in the southern Philippines tell how they came to be joyfully serving the poor.
Priests of the Auckland Archdiocese share the deep joy of their personal calling.
No matter what a person’s vocation is, it is important that it fits. It is important that it is really you. Being who you really are is what gives glory to God. This is a reflection about discovering in the end who you really are.
Fr. Kevin Dillon and Fr. Max Vodola, both priests of the Archdiocese of Melbourne, and long-time friends of the Redemptorists, tell of the down-to-earth and 24/7 nature of their vocations. Their joy is apparent as they negotiate the routines and unforeseen circumstances of each day.
This video shows images of young men attending a vocations retreat run by the Redemptorists in the Vice Province of Manila, Philippines. These men are quite some time away from knowing what God is calling them to in life. But what they have in common is an awareness that God is part of the process. Sharing their faith allows them to understand that the call of God is personal, but it is never isolated from others.
No matter where life is calling you, if you are interested in making a vocations retreat, you are welcome to contact our vocations team.
