Emmaus Journey

This retreat has been designed for people in the second half of life. A gentle four-day experience of wholeness and wellbeing. Ensuite room $550, shared facilities $450.


Walking Towards the Light – “A Journey with Abhishiktananda"

Presented by: Fr Michael Hardie SVD

When: Monday 13th to Saturday 18th May

On this five-day journey Fr Michael Hardie, member of the Society of the Divine Word, shares his wealth of missionary experience. A journey that takes retreatants into a deep experience of prayer. Swami Abhishiktananda is the Indian name adopted by Fr Henri Le Saux, a French Benedictine monk. On the quest we will meet with his companions, Frs. Jules Monchanin and Bede Griffith. A contemplative time for those already on the odyssey, or those who desire to set out.

Fr Hugh and Fr Emil will lead a retreat on Living in the Divine Will. Fr Hugh has conducted contemplative and Eucharistic retreats for many years and Fr Emil has presented talks and retreat days on the teachings of Luisa Picarretta of Living in the Divine Will. For both beginners and those familiar with Luisa, this retreat will be a transformative experience.

Listen with the soul Six Day Retreat

'When you listen with the soul you come into rhythm with the universe'. This quote from John O'Donohue sets the scene for a spiritual journey. Fr Kevin Dance CP and Sr Jill Dance RSJ combine to lead participants into an experience of inner prayer. There will be opportunity for group sharing, a time for healing and reconciliation. Marian Procession Sunday and a three-Day Retreat

When: Thursday 10th to Monday 14th October

A retreat in English, Vietnamese and Indonesian. “A great sign appeared in the heavens and a woman clothed with the sun” - Revelations 12:1. In the three days leading to the Archdiocesan Marian Procession, a retreat in three languages will prepare pilgrims to participate more fully in this Marian devotion. Redemptorists from the three language groups will lead pilgrims to ponder Mary's place in our Redemption and share their cultural expressions of the Marian Devotion.
