The passing of Fr Keith Teefey CSsR (1932 – 2018) Vivat in aeternum

It is with great sadness that we share with you the passing of Fr Keith Teefey who died in Nudgee Brisbane at 1.20 pm, Friday, May 11, 2018. His perseverance and faith through protracted illness was nothing short of heroic and he has been for many years a  sacrament of the suffering Christ in our midst.

Bill Goldman had been commissioned by the EPC to be Keith'carer on behalf of the Province.. He took up this position after Dominic Carrigan moved from Shortland to Galong at the start of 2018.  After Keith died Bill spoke with Sr Margaret, Shenelle and Michael from Pastoral Care who were with Keith when he died. Bill had asked them to tell Keith that the Province was praying with him and that we loved him.  Shenelle passed on that message and said that Keith acknowledged it.

May Keith live with all the faithful departed in the heart of the risen Christ.

Requiem Mass will be celebrated at 11.00 am on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at St Vincent's Church, 131 Queens Road, Nudgee, with the committal following at the Redemptorist plot in Nudgee cemetery less than half a kilometre from  the church.
