Pope Benedict has declared June 2008 – June 2009 the year of St. Paul, marking the 2,000th anniversary of the great apostle’s birth.

Meetings for study will be promoted and there will be special publications on Pauline texts, to promote the immense richness of the teaching contained in them, true patrimony of humanity redeemed by Christ.
Benedict XVI, June 28, 2008

Paul of Tarsus is a man larger than life. He is also a great saint. There is much to know about him. His significance to the world is undeniable and worthy of serious study and prayerful reflection.  To that end, Fr. Kevin O’Shea, C.Ss.R., STD, has prepared a series of articles on this extraordinary apostle, this faithful disciple of Christ Jesus.  Throughout this year of St. Paul, Fr. O’Shea will publish an article here each month. You are welcome to download them, reflect on them, and pray about what you are discovering.
