Laudato Si' (Praise Be to You)Pope Francis has released his second encyclical Laudato Si' (Praise Be to You). In the encyclical, the pope gives a biting critique of consumerism and global poverty with a plea for swift action" to combat environmental degradation, climate change and inequality.

Francis urges all of humanity to come together to act quickly, as the Earth begins “to look more and more like an immense pile of filth.”
